Circular.

                        The following will be the order of march for to-morrow, and the change in each succeeding day will be merely in the Order of Brigades, the 2^d Brig to be in the front on the 2^d Day and the 3^d the rear; the 1^st in front on the 3^d Day and the 2^d the rear; and each day following alternating in the same manner.

 

The Batteries each day will remain in proximity to the Brigades with which they start and in the same order in line. The wagons, and ambulances will retain the same order, bearing like relation to their respective Brigades.

 

                        1^st        3d Brigade

                        2^d         6^th Maine Battery

                        3.         Brigade Ambulances

                        4.         2^d Brigade

                        5.         Hamptons Battery

                        6.         Brigade Ambulances

                        7.         Knaps Battery

                        8.         1^st Brigade

                        9.         Ammunition Train

                        10.       Brigade wagons in order of Brigades

                        11.       Rear Guard      5^th Regt Ohio Vols

                        12.       Extreme Rear. Provost Guard.

 

Each Brigade will have its own rear guard to pick up stragglers, and Commanding Officers of Brigades will be held responsible for cases of straggling,
