Circular.
All Brigade Quarter-Masters of this Division, while the command is marching, will receive instructions from Lieut. G. L. Parker, Chief Quarter-Master of the Division, and all Regimental Quarter-Masters will report to their respective Brigade Quarter-Masters
Hereafter, to ensure a simultaneous action in the watering of the teams during the march notice will be given from the Division Commander of the time when, and the place where, it shall be done, and in no instance will watering at any other time be permitted. Any infringement in this particular will be reported at these Head Quarters, for punishment.
Regimental Quarter-Masters and Quarter-Master Sergeants must be with their respective Regimental trains, and will be held responsible for their management. They will see that their wagons are kept in line, so that no gaps occur, to overcome, which the teams, in many instances are driven at a pace which is immoderate and entirely / unnecessary.
Wagon guards must in all cases carry their arms and accoutrements.
Regimental Quarter-Masters will this afternoon make inspections of the arms of their teamsters, and those without arms, or having them in bad order, will be reported to the Chief Quarter Master of the Division.
Regimental Quarter-Masters will at once instruct the teamsters and others employed by them, in the duties required by these orders
