General Orders.
No 19
The attention of officers of this command is called to the following communication from Head Quarters 12th Army Corps:
"The Commanding General expects that you will have your command in complete readiness for service at any day. That the supply of arms, clothing, equipments, pioneers tools, ammunition, and all the necessary material will be so complete that, by no possibility, can there be the slightest delay, in consequence of want of preparation, whenever you may be ordered to move."
Officers in command of Brigades, Artillery, Cavalry, and Ambulance Corps, and the Ordnance officer of the Division, will as soon as possible, and within three days from this date report all the deficiencies in the arms, accoutrements, shelter and other tents allowed on a march, clothing and equipments, pioneers tools, means of transportation, horses, and ammunition in their commands, and the means which have been taken to supply the deficiencies, with date of requisitions.
They will also report any delay in immediately answer- / ing any requisitions which have been, or may be made.
