Rose H. Shaver
Rose H. Shaver was born on August 21, 1873, in West Virginia to Benjamin and Frances Shaver. Her father was a farmer. She grew up in Grant, West Virginia, and she married George C. Stone in 1895. They had at least three children: Frances, born around 1896; Edith, born around 1898; and George, born around 1900. They lived in Grafton, West Virginia, and her husband worked as a druggist. They moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia, in the early 1900s, and she served as president of the local chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. By 1930, they were living in Dunham, Ohio. She died in Lumberport, West Virginia, on August 19, 1965.
