mull wull Mar after so long a time I will try to finish what few lines I shall writ this time. I cannot think of much more to write this time. your letter was the 2und letter that I have recived from there since I came away from pennsylvania how does miss M. Caves get along since I came away from there have you got that miserable looking picture from her since I came away tell me when you write. I spose she is one of the Galls. tell her to write me a letter when you see her /
 
I spose Delila and Mell has got about ready to slip out havent they. I send best respects to them. tell Jul I would like to send her a candy kiss, but cannot this time. write about all of the folks next time. is your dad droying oil this winter. how does your mother get along is she well as yousul. I should think she would B sick-abt about-sick on the acount of not having me round in the way.
 
Mary I am glad that you have a good teacher this winter. is it a teacher or mistress.
 
Ma, I am glad to get small letters but would be much more pleased to get larger ones.
 
I will writ a little about the weather the was about / one inch of snow here we were to Washington and the has bin about as much more here since we got here the sun shines about evory day sundy was a hot day for winter. it is midling cold to day so it seams some lik winter. Cristmas and Newyears was warm, not a drop of snow to B seen. the Boys said that it was not cristmas nor Newyears because the was no snow. well Mary, I myst stop writing this time. I think that if you write as much next time as I have this time it will do verry well I think you will get tired a reding this miserabe writing. /
