Respected Lady I now improve a few moments in telling you I am to home and I am a going to send those few lines which I now write to give you an invatation to atend Newyears with me as I never atended any such holow Day with you. I got home last thursday Dec. 8th and will stay to home Newyears Cristmas and come up there NewYears I think the will 2 more couple come with me My aunt & cousen with their Fellows / Come with me and go up to Aunt Matildas and if the is a Ball to Westfield or North East we will all go to that to spend the Evening. if I knew it was so you could come down here I should rather have you do it but I havent hardley time to find out now so to know what to depend on. now I want you to make up your mind and write a line just as soon as you get this. I should come up Christmas if my mother was not sick but she isent verry well at present & dont want me to leave untill Newyears / But I will be there 2 or 3 days before Newyears I believe that it comes on Sunday so if it does you must write what day it is heald on so we can be there in time now Mary write soon as you get this and if the is any Ball tickets out please send me one from Westfield and one from North East But we will go where you think it is best & will have the best Ball.
 
            Mary I would send you some money if I had it but if you want any thing to North East go and get it and I will pay for it when I come now dont be afraid to do so any thing that you want to fix up with I will pay for. 
 
I am to my Uncles to night and could get it of him but am afraid he will think the is something up but any thing you want dont be affraid to go and get it for I shall have some money when I come Mary dont let any one see this for it is written in some what of a hurry and verry poorly gotten up. But you know who has written it to you as it is not the first that I ever wrote to you Please give my regard to all inquiring Your people in partickular the is some sleighing her be sure & write how the sleighing is up your way I would bring a horse and cutter if I knew the sleighing would be good & hold out untill I get round do you think I can get a good rig up there I will send you a ticket & photograph write soon Dear Mary Yours Ever True Love
