Dear Parants
I thought I would write you a few lines not having much to do to day and let you know that I am wel as ever hand hope this will find you the same I have wrote you 2 letters sence I have any I receved any yours of the [?] where it spoke of sending the box but expect to get one every day now you saw of the fight Joseph Gardner was kiled Whip Hendrix was wound we get great praise for our conduct on the feald that day I was in the all of it and every charge it was good I would not have mised of being there / for a goodeald it was a site worth seeing all rather unhelthy would it so you could send me a Seesley or Harply paper every weak if you could I would be very much oblige to any of you send a few post stamp if you please
