I received your letter this morning and was glad to hear from you and to find you all injoying good health. I will also say that my health is verry good at presant and hope on the receival of this scriblin it may still find you the same I am glad to hear you / have so much fine weather in NH the weather here is very uneaven one it will be verry plesant and the next cold and windey the nightes are verry cold here but come to the write of it thare is nothing verry plesant this way that I have ever sean on eney of my travels if eney of the people around you think thare is just send them out here I will give eney one of them my chance and I will come home just to acomadate them I supose John C. Dearbourn has given you all a discription of what little he see of the war movemants I supose he will set / it out pratty well but he carnt enlarge it eney I was glad he came out here I wish every man in town cold come thay would find it diferant from what thay now think it is eney way I think thare hasent bin eney one here yet that believed the ceame on going home as thay did before thay came oute here I havent eney newes to write the armey all is quiet just now how long it will remain so I cant tell I will just say tell your Mother I am graitley obleaged to her for what she sent me and I will try and pay her for the same some time if posible we had a good time over my old trunk I tell you Hn keep your scate and I will fix it for you sometime I guess so I will close this time by saying / give my Respects to your father and mother and Elbridges familey and keep a share your self
