You need not send me any shirts at presant for we expect to move before long and we dont know but we shall have to go to North Carolina again or to Alexandria there is another Battle expected here pretty soon and I think that one more will fix the 21^st we send home one of our wounded Scortz that lost both his arms carrying the colours he is alive and in good spirits I have not much news to write now As it is christmas I wish you all a merry one
