Sep 26 we start this morning after breakfast we are drawing 2 days rashons most of the boys ar in good spirits this morning I feel verry well Frank Johnson is lively he is on extry duty most of / the time for mising roal call and going to town without leave I never mis a roal yet unless I was out with a gard
we can get things to eat by paying an auful price the crackers and fat meet we get from government is hard stuf to live on I buy some bread occasionly and pie 5 cents will buy enough for one meal of bread I wil close and pack my knapsack and
