I will write some more I have been out to the picket line with some beef for our boyes and I got a small pail of blackberryes I have just had my dinner perhaps you would like to kno what I had well I had coffee fried beefstake and buiscuit that is rather good for a soldier but I can stand it we drew some flour yesterday I am going to make 2 pies for my supper I can bake them thiswise on a tin plate on coals turn a messpan over it and coals on top of that you kno I like blackberry pie /
in my last letter I informed you I had sent money 50 Dollars for fear you dont get the letter I will say so again in this you are to get it at Gormlys Bank by calling all expence is paid if it ever gets thare Major McDonald took the draft to Murfreesboro from here there seems to be something rong his pass was only for 48 hours and he started Wednesday and not back we dont kno what is rong
