well I got a good sleep and all is quiet yet I think old hood is a little cautious about comeing on us here we are out nearly 2 miles from the city and there is 40 thousand more troups here well Mam I got your letter at franklin just a few minutes before the fight commenced I was glad to get them pictures they are nice but I think they have changed some in looks since I was home well Mam about that Commision I gues I will get mustered when I get a chance I cant tell when that will be there is no vacancy now so I must wate until there is one I cant draw pay / until I get mustered about the Bounty you spoke of I think I dont get Bounty when one gets a Commision only my first Bounty and those that got Commisions before they served 2 years dont get that and had to pay back the first 25 Dollars advance Bounty so I am sound on my hundread Dollars well I cant say what we will do yet we are lying just where we came in last evening I expect if we hante atacted soon we will go in camp
