Mattie My Dear Wife I will drop you a few lins to let you no that I am well an I do hope to the lord that this may find you all in the best of health my dear I can say to you that we landed at this place last nite an the yankees are in large force hear an we are now fronting them Colquett is in the rear with the 6th 19th an 23 an the 27 Seventh is not got hear yet but the old Regt that was never none to fail us is on the South of the yanks ready cout an dried for the fun an it will come on in a day or two you must give my love to all of my folks an to youre Pa Ma an babe an tell them all to write to me for I want to hear from them an let me no if you an hester got to money that I sent to you an her or not I will close by saying I remain youre old sweete harte as ever T W G Ingles /
