Market St Manchester NH
June 23d 1865
Dear Mary
I presume you have seen a notice of our arrival at Readville this week.
I stopped in Boston two nights and am now on my way home to stop over Sunday. I shall return to Boston next week Wednesday or thursday, to get my final pay from uncle Sam. I want you to write me right off. It seems an age since I have heard from you. Please address me at the "Adams House" Boston. I shall be out to Salem last of next week.
Ever yrs
