Moses H. Jones

Moses H. Jones was born in Wales in the early 1830s. He married a woman named Ann, and they immigrated to New York by the early 1850s. They had at least seven children: Jane, born around 1853; Ann, born around 1855; Mary, born around 1857; Sarah, born around 1860; Robert, born around 1862; William, born around 1864; and Elizabeth, born around 1868. By 1865, Jones was working as a quarryman in Washington County, New York. By 1880, he was working as a slate maker. He died sometime after 1892.
