Dear wife and children it is with pleasure that i take my pen in hand to in forme you that i am well At this time and i truley hope when those fiew lins com to hand tha will find you All well and doing well wee hav not got our pay yet but wee think we will be paid oaf in afew days Tom thinks that we will be dis banded but i cannot tel whether we will be or not if we are i will com home just as soon as i am dis banded som of our regment says that tha will go home when tha get thare pay wether tha are dis charged or not tha sware tha will go and stay when tha get home i want you to rite and let me no how you are all getting along and whether keth has planted the coarn or not a if i dont get to com home i will send som money to you i must close if i never see you eny more i want to meete you in heven fare well J W Sanders
