            My Dear wife I one more time take the presant oppertunity to drop you a fiew lins to let you no that I am well and I truley hop when those fiew lins comes to hand tha will find you all well and doing well
 
Rittey Ann you say in your letter that you was a going to move up to your fathers if you want every thing to go to loas mov up thare so that every thing can be disstroied and go to loas so that I never can get to hear / from you I dont want you to go up thare to stay for I no you had better stay at home so that when I get to com up home I can see you and the children I think I will get to com home be fore long and If wee dont get dis banded I will get to com home and hire a buoy to stay with you untill I get to come home to stay with you and the children
