My Dear Wife I am blest with the privolige of riting you a fiew lins to let you no that I am well at this time and I truley hope when those lins comes to hand tha will find you and the children well and doing well I recived too letters from you one dated the 24 of last month and one the 11 or the 13 of this month I cant tell which tho I was glad to hear from you and the children Oh I want to see you and the mitey bad but I no that I cant see you soon but I still live in hops of seeing you and live with you yet / tho I may never see you but if I never meete with the opertunety of seeing you hear on this earth let mee say I wante to meete you all in the Kingdom of Heven thare wee will never part no more Oh then wee will hav pleasure forever and ever
well Rittey Ann I want you to keep that money all for your own use untill I giv you other news eney how for I dont no whether I can ever send you eney more untill I come home and you now that is unserten when that will be not soon tho you no
I sent 20 dollars to you in deans letter let mee no whether you hav goat it or /
I sold that pen for I did not now how to send it to you I got too dollars and a half for it I only giv one dollar and 14 cts for the pen I saved my self on the pen I hav a better one then it was I giv one dollar and .75 cts for it I cold get my money for it and as mutch more but I will not sell it let mee no how you are a getting a long and hoo has the steears and you now you said you would let mee now whether you now what I mean I mean that I lov you and want to see you and hav pleasure with you one time more write soon and oaften

well tell the children that I send my lov to them and want to be rememberd by them and tell them to feede the coalt and make it grow so tha can ride it and feede the pigs and littel lambs when tha find them and if I was with you you now I wold hug you and kiss you and you now it dont you
