Dear sister yours of the 22ond of november come to had last night I truly glad to here from you and to hear that you was all well I was also glad to here from helen for I had not herd from you her for a month and I was very uneasy a but her I was sorry to here that you had so much snow for you women have hard time enough when the wether is good and when there is much snow I dont now how you will get a long and helen is in a very bad fix for will will get a long bad throug the snow with his lame leg / but tha are in the care of the all wise creater and preserver of all things and I can but comend his blessing on them in my absence well rityan I think you was very limited in your narative conserning her as she had requested you to write you might have give the particulars of her sufering and who nursed her and and if the babe was prety but I was glad to here what I did and I will wait till she is abel to give the particulars well I have nothing strang to comunicate we have had two or three cold days for the first this winter but it is nothing what you have had it snowed a little a newers eave for the first we have had / not a nough to cover the ground I was on picket that nigh and it was very disagree and it has ben quite cold since the citisens say the coldest has ben for many years but a man can go out in his sheart sleaves and nock round out sofering much. the boys generally well and in good hart the most of us looking forward to a speda close of the war when we may come home to our friends and families we had a letter from Jack the other day he is well and he says he is comeing home as soon as you could make it convenant and he thought he could make the rifel in one year more I will close F M Selsor to R A Sanders write soon /
well father a few lines to you I was sorry to here that you had had such bad luck in looseing your horse you did not say how you come to lose him whether he died or how. well father a bout that dead of Jacks I want you to see that it is recorded and I want you to assist helen in geting the numbers of my land corrected well I will have to close this leaves me well and I hope these few lines may find you well and doing well no more at this time
