My Dear Wife I one time more take my pen in hand to ansure your cinde letter that come to hand last nite which I was glad to hear from you all and I was sorry to hear that Jacob was sick but I truley hope when this comes to hand he will be well and tha will will find you all well and doing well I am tolerbel well I hav had the worst cold I nearley ever had it setteld in my back and hed and hip and in the back of my neck I took a rite smart of medeson and I hav got so / I can get a bout tolerbel well tho my hed and neck hearts me yet I must tell you that I never exspect to be as stout as I hav bin my helth is not half as good as it was this time last year oh you dont no how bad I want to se you and the little children but I dont no when I will get to come I want you to let me no how sweet little Jacob is as soon as you get this tho I am not with you my prairs is with with you all tho we are meney milds a parte but I still liv in hops that that I will get home to liv with you yet and the children one time more /

 

I will not rite mutch this time if i never se you eney more in this life my hope and desier and prair to god that we may meete in heven where we will never parte no more i want you to rite soon and let me no how you are a getting a long and whether you hav rented the ground or not I hav seventey five dollars for you I want to send home I dont no ho i will send it by yet bill serat is a going home and i may send it by him and i may not so no more fare well for this time
