My Dear Wife I am blesst with the privolig of adressing you a fiew lins In ansor to your kind letter which I recived this morning baring date June the 16 which i red with grate pleasure I was glad to hear from you and the children and I truley hope when those fiew lins comes to hand tha will find you and the children well and doing well I am in good helth at this time the boys is generly well as fare as I now
Rittey Ann I will tell you all a bout that dead a fare Q.C.A. king and mee had traded and then he wanted to rue he said henery Mckern had rote to him that he wold pay as mutch or more then eney other man and he said he had to pay James king one hunderd and twenty five dollars / and then I told him if he had to pay that before I wold miss the land I wold pay him what he had to pay out for the making the ded and when the letter com that the had not bin made to him he said that James king wold hav to pay for the dead and this is the contract he was not out eney thing and I will not pay for the dead and the is no use to talk about mee a paying for that if it is nessary to hav proof of this I can hav plentey tho I will rite Mr king a fiew lins in this letter on a seperet peec to this letter I want you to rite all a bout how the corn looks and how the times is and what the men is a doing so I must now close for this time write soon John W.
