Hugo Klocke
Hugo Klocke was born around 1821 in present-day Germany. He immigrated to America in 1849 and settled in Fredericksburg, Texas. By 1850, he was working as a clerk. He married Emilie Schuelze on October 11, 1855, and their daughter Alvina was born around 1861. He moved to San Antonio, Texas, in the 1850s, and he earned a living as a bookkeeper there. By 1870, he was serving as a county judge, and a decade later, he was working as a railroad agent. His wife died in May 1880, and he died near Galveston, Texas, on June 12, 1882.
