Cyrus O. Bachman was born on July 28, 1816, in Pennsylvania. He married a woman named Hannah, and the couple apparently had no children. They lived in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and Bachman worked as a printer. He supported the Whig Party, and he attended the party’s county convention in August 1852. By 1860, he owned $800 of real estate and $200 of personal property. A decade later, he owned $2,000 of personal property. He died on December 13, 1887.
