Charles F. Trenk
Charles F Trenk was born around 1830. By 1860, he was living in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, He enlisted in the Union army on October 1, 1862, and he mustered in as a sergeant in Company E of the 54th Ohio Infantry later that day. He was reduced to the ranks on September 12, 1863. He was captured by Confederate forces at Black River Bridge, Mississippi, on September 14, 1863. He survived the war and returned to Cuyahoga County. He died sometime after 1869.
