To Ritty Ann Sanders and family
Dear Daughter
I will inform you of you o our helth We are all well as comon only your Mother and she is worse than she has bin for some two or three days back and the rest of the family is well as fare as i No I hope that those few lins may find you and the little children well we recived your letter this morning and was glad to here from you and here that you was doing well We have rote John aletter this morning and told him that we herd from him you I will inform you of the sad condition of Williams family James Sanders is ded he died least friday evineng and was burid on Staurday in the honor of War he belonged to the home guard company they went to his house and marched him to the graveyarde this was the home guard company that don this they sent for us to come and see him die and Saly went to see him die I guess at the last calculation they was three hundred at the burien
Amy family is well as fare as I no and polys family is well and uncal James and his family is all well as far as we /
we have agradel of sickness and deths here and some small pox in ownsburgh but it hasent bin scaterd much I believe or yet at enyrate it hant
Tell the little children hury and get big enough to come and see this grand Mother and father and aunts and little cosens sonomore at presant only remains
