dear brother and Sister

i hav the present opportunity of droping you a few liens in answer to your ever welcom letter which we recivd a good while ago but you said you wantid me to let you no some thing a but Sintha and i rote to hur and got no answer from her until Saturday She said that she had not got [paper fold, faded] She had not heard from him for three months and she said that the boys out of his regment say that he had a wife down South She said she cold not believe it but she sid that / she was bound to believ that their was some thing wrong for he had not sent any money nor word and mike is dead he dide the day before christmas he dide with the tifoid fever carline baty is dead She with consumtion Sintha is goinge to move down with mahala and try to raise her bread and meet well that is anuf of that well we hav sold out agane to come to mo and jo sais he is coming if he livs this fall and me and the children is coming this spring if we can make the pris we / want to come out and make a crop their is a gate many talking of coming out this spring and fall tell eve an nan and jin that i hav not forgot them an maria an helen but it is not because i hav got so many letters from them i want you all to get to gohen some Sunday and see if you cant get up a good letter and send it to me and let me hear from you all i am hear alone their is a dosen or so to right to it is not lik righting to won so i must bring my letter to a close for this time so this livs us / all well and tuly hope it may reac you due time and find you all well if i cant come this spring i want you all to rase plenty garden stuff so no more at present from Sady j hert an family to rity ann Sanders an family
