My Dear Wife it is one more time that I take my pen in to let you no where I am to day I am at Mitchel Station a bout 10 milds from Woolds fary Woods fary wee landed hear a bout 10 oc Clock this morning and I am hapey to say that I am as well as I am My sholder is not intierley well yet but I am a doing dutey and I truley hope when those lins comes to hand tha will find you all well we hav had vary good luck so fare we stopt at logatey and I seen Henery Wagner and James tha said our olde nabors was well so fare as tha new
O well Rittey Ann we are a long wase a parte and I exspect to be further from you yet we are on our way to louis vill ky and we think from thare we will go to Chattenuga tennesee
well while I am a riting I recived a letter from you dated the 11 of Oct you was in Iowa when you rote direct your letters to St louis untill you hear from mee Oh I want you to remember mee in your prairs and pray that I may finely make my way to heven and if I never see you eney more let us try to meet in heven rite soon the letters will follow us up
So fare well for a while as soon as wee stop I will rite to you a gane
