            My Dear Husband
I am very very lonely without you! but My Dear I sometimes I sometimes think that I am almost happy in thinking of the future. I feel assured that we will be restored to each other With what eagerness do I await the happy day which I hope is not far off. Oh tell me! My Husband when that happy time comes, shall anything ever separate us again. My health is very good at this time. Tis true that I have curious sensations at times but these give me more pleasure than pain. Your letters are invaluable treaures to me, I read them, again and again, not because I do not get them often: but becaus the words that your dear hand has traced are a great comfort to me in my loneliness.

Be of good cheer for I am sure that there is much hapiness yet in store for us. I am as ever

                                                Your devoted wife
