I am acting orderly at present but
dont like it very well There is most
to much work for me I would rather
go on guard than than to be orderly It
is the hardesr phase theare is in the Co.
We left Brashear yesterdayand
came here The whole brigade is here
I think the General was afraid tha
would get in the rear of us and
then it would bother us to get out
all safe but tha cant take us here I
guess Mar 29nd Well Frances we had
orders to give Companies to go back to
Brashear City to do picket duty so I
could not finish my letter before
we went We was gon three days
and got back all safe but the next
five companies that went had rather
bad luck
