Belinda Hamilton
Belinda Hamilton (maiden name: Andrews) was born on August 22, 1824, in Maine. She married Ivory Hamilton, and they had at least ten children: Ann, born around 1842; Diamon, born around 1843; Susan, born around 1844; Ansel, born around 1848; Haven, born around 1849; Charles, born around 1851; Frank, born around 1853; Henry, born around 1855; Louisa, born around 1859; and Frederick, born around 1861. They lived in Waterboro, Maine, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1850, they owned $500 of real estate. A decade later, they owned $6,000 of real estate and $550 of personal property, and by 1870, their wealth had grown to $10,000 of real estate and $5,000 of personal property. She died in Waterboro on May 16, 1889.
