Dear Uncle Luther
I was at Manassas the other night and Aunt Bert showed me your new book. I think it's splendid and if you will send me the prospectus or sample may be I can get you a few orders. Uncle Sam does not allow me to canvass while I am working for the Post Office Department but thought I could get a few orders here in Middleburg among my friends. Wish you would send me the whole book as I would like to read it. How is the money question with you now? About a thousand dollars would certainly look good to me. Even a hundred or two would make me smile all over. Tell me if you can't do something for us along that line sometime soon.

Don't forget about the book.

With kind regards for all

            I am, Sincerely your Nephew
