H. P. Cook to Luther W. Hopkins, 11 November 1910
Nov 11th 1910
Mr Luther W Hopkins
Dear Sir:
I am sending under separate cover, photos of a young Confederate Soldier, the conquered Banner, Gen. Stonewall Jackson, & Mrs R E Lee. I send you the small photo of Mrs. Lee, as it is from the original, thinking you would prefer it, as the larger one would be a copy. We have a photo of Mrs Stonewall Jackson & her daughter Julia taken during the War, also a large collection of War Views & Generals.
Yours Respectfully
After inquiring at the H P Cook
Confederate Museum we find that
Traveler was buried in Lexington per B.
and we have no picture of Traveler without Lee.
