My dear old Johny Reb:
I was glad to hear from you the other day – but I would have been –gladder- if you had written a letter.
I have not been down your way since I last called. Most of my traveling now is back and forth between here and Florida.
Business has been very good and I have been fairly prosperous, and I certainly hope it is the same with you.
My boy Eastman is doing well, in fact, quite credibility and will be home to night for his Christmas Holidays.
With the most kindly expression of Love, Good Will and the greatest desire of peace and comfort to you.
I am, the same old Yank,
Always cheerily,
WJS/MAB WJSanborn
