Arrested by one of your Officers, I have the honor to inform you with high regard, that I await your orders, & am ready & willing to perform such conditions of release as you may take pleasure in prescribing.
Designing to locate in Cincinnati, my detention would probably effect no more than can now be performed, & my release can certainly be no detriment to the Service.
