Excuse the toren paper I had no others to day & I have but a few stamps left but will get some by my next letter We Recd yours of the 29 Oct was sorry you ware sick of the Flux hope you are better. Glad to here your lungs are better. Doo try & get a situation in the Hospitle as clerk or nurs or somthing of the kind
Let us know in your next how to fix this ink. I can hardley write with it; today we send 2 letters; one with this in & some Tormentill the other with J Gerings & Mary Millers letters & some new mixture also a few stamps if you get out of them before we can send more you must send Soldiers letters; we are all tolareble well at presant excepting I have a sore or sweled face catched it in the corn field but I must go at it this afternoon again good or bad Cyrus John & I erned 30 B. (of corn) in 4 days last weak at Wm Barkers; this weak we husk at Mr Bradshaws & then perhaps at Greenings; Edward is not able to husk any but he dabed & white washed the house made a good cupard &c News we have none onley Jacob has mooved to whare Borden lived; but Moll dont come over eny or Tipps either they are too buisey with John & Nanc Huckelberry if you can send us your soldier likness; but not to Moll /
I sent the V. in a letter to Portland, Ky but Akin told Ed the Rigt must be on or you would not get it & he put it on. we also sent some capricum to Portland there is no venison nothing of the drafting here yet; or of the discharges but I have a full list of the drafted in old Northd Co. Pa. Major Huff & I rivised it the other day & found 3 Republicans out of 47 drafted in Shatuckin township the Reb devels sympathisers catched it; but couldent help do so for all the Republicans had gone to war the we had Election on yesterday but dont know the result; onley the Sesh had much quarling amongst themselves, as they some voted the so caled union ticket; I dont know wether their kind of union means as they pretend to be united with the Republicans to put an end to the Rebelion; or to unite with Jeff & his other southern & Northern Confederates

Wm I want your advise & consent on a seperate slip of paper. Did you ever notice the 80 acres in front of Wests joining Stones; with about 20 acres of good dry wash & 12 acres of clear dry land & the best kind of timber & good springs west set their water on it. Price 4 hundred dols. if we can sell for 4 shall we buy it; will you give me a little help to build a house &c; I must close Wm Albright
