Hospital No 4
Louisville Ky
Jan 10th/63
Dear Parents and Brothers,
I am enjoying good health, and hope you enjoy the same. you will doubtless be surprised to hear that I am going into the Marine service. I passed the board of examination, and they pronounced me sound. we start for St Louis, Mo, this evening, and I will let you know all about in a few days. I am in a hurry now, so excuse me for my briefness. I remain your affectionate Son,
Wm O Albright.
I think I will stand it better than clodhopping.
