Dear Brother
I once more sit down to write a fiew lines to you. whe received a letter from you on Saturday and were glad to hear from you but sorry to hear that you was sick but I hope this will find you enjoying good health again. as for myself I do not feel so well this Spring as i did in the winter the folks here are all as well as common Jacob Punchus is in Ohio now with his friends I do not know his address but will find out as soon as i can. On Easter Sunday JoAnn Story and Lew Frakes were married. She wrote letters to one, went home from meeting with one, and married a the third. prety good whe received a letter from Uncle Charles and Henry Batjer to day / Uncle Charles was well he was at Henrys when he wrote he lives with old Mr. Grady's. Henry Batjers are all well, they had a good deal of sickness in their family through the winter they live in Snyder Co. at the Middle Creek whare George gorman lived Eli Megnis sold his farm for nine thousand dollars he is coming out here this Spring. whe got a letter from Joel Smith a fiew days ago. they are all well. James Smith & J Porter are at Laverne Tennese James & Paul Smith & Wm Graham have moved to Kosiosco Co. Graham is their preacher Henry Smith is maried to a widow Ames's daughter, and is a farming. Hannah Smith is maried to C. Porter, & Mary Smith P. has a little boy, & Jonathan Kurtz has bought 40 A. of land in Kossiosco Co. he will move on it this spring & S Brown lives thare to. they all live near to gether. write soon again, from your affectiona Brother
