Ann Elizabeth Peck
Ann Elizabeth Peck (maiden name: Valentine) was born around 1820 in New York. She married George A. Peck on September 25, 1840, and they had at least eight children: Henry, born on July 4, 1842; F. C., born around 1844; Mary, born around 1847; George, born around 1850; Jane, born around 1854; Joseph, born around 1856; Emma, born around 1859; and William, born around 1861. They lived in New York City, and her husband worked as a clothier. They moved to Greenwich, Connecticut, and by 1860, the family owned $32,000 of real estate and $6,000 of personal property. A decade later, their wealth had risen to $30,000 of real estate and $75,000 of personal property. She died sometime after 1880.
