You are aware that Mr Gilmer brought Suit against the present occupants of the Har[?] Plantation at the last term of the Circuit Court. I employed Harris on [?] to defend the trial will come on at the April Court & it is desireable for you to be here. I had expected you before this, but have not even heard from you
We have no news here Crop in the Pararie was a poor one. My family are now at home again in kind regards to you & yours
