                        To All to whom these presents may Come, Greeting.

            Know Ye that I do hereby appoint     C R Jones        Enrolling Officer for Precinct No. 9 in Bastrop County, and he is hereby commanded to Enroll all persons within said Precinct between the ages of 18 and 50 years, subject to Military duty, and to report the same without delay to this Department, in accordance with an act of the Legislature of the State of Texas Approved Dec 25^th 1861—and
