after my respects to you I am well at the present time and hope these few lines will find you in the same I received two lettars from you one the 9 day of this month I was glad to hear from you my dear that you ware well and harde as a buck for my part i I cant say that I am as harde as a buck I but I must say I feel that way parte of the time It apere the way you rote you intend to quit riting to me by what I can learn ther has bin infernal pack of lies told on me out there and you with some of the rest Bleeve it I cant / helpt what pepal tualks there now but I do some day there will bee a difernt cind of tualk when I come home you can bleve as mutch as you pleas and I will charge you nothing for it if you want to quit riting to me on a count of them lies all rite I am as indenpenent as you or eny bodey els I wasent born blind I dont scare wort a [?] these times my dear ther is as good fish in the sea as ever was cetch out and I stand as good a chance as eny bodey else War wont last all the time this is plain riting my dear but you laid the foundation for it I right as well as eny body els Now if you want to quit riting all rite you can answer this or let a lone Just as you please a bout it /
