John F. Driggs to Catharine A. Gage, 8 April 1864
Washington City April 8th 1864.

Mrs Gage:
Dr Madam
I have at last succeeded in getting an order No 140, as enclosed, for the discharge of Glover, on paying back any bounties he may have rec'd. It would seem, after having served two years, as though he had earned the bounties, but there is no appeal from this decision.

If you require / any further aid from me in this matter, I am at your service.

Truly Yours
J F Driggs
