Edward B. Bury to Orange B. Wilson, 1 July 1890
Edward B. Bury,
U.S. Pension Patent and Claim Attorney.
Washington, D.C. July 1st 1890
Orange B. Wilson, Esq
Mallet Creek, Ohio
Dear Sir:
I have your favor of the 25th Ult, and am glad to know that you are so well satisfied with my efforts in your behalf. I have again called up the case of Lt Smolk, and asked to have it placed on the list of completed Files in the Pension Office, and hope to have it disposed of soon.
Enclosed find a few circulars which please distribute among your soldier friends, as also any widows of soldiers in your vicinity. Under the late Act of June 27, 1890, it is only necessary to prove present disability. Origin in the service is not required.
Respectfully,
E. B. Bury.
