Dear Daughter I take the present opotunity to inform you that we are all well at present and hope that you are enjoying the same great blesing I have never heard from Thomas & Rufus since they left if you should happen to hear from them please let me know. the family all send their love to you all tell Vincent I should like to hear from him let me know if he is in the whore house yet times is very hard here and money very scarce I have been engaged in buying horses all sumer but I think that goverment must be nearly supplied for they have got nearly all the horses out of this country I have not time to write any more at present but let me hear from you as soon as possible no more at present but remain your affectionate Father untill Death
