good moring to you my dear mother and father and sisters and brothers and how do you all do this moring i am wal and i hope you ar to mother it is 7 munts to moro sence i in lested and it may be 7 mor and it may not be more then to munts befor i may be home and it may be 7 years but i think it wont be long be fur i shall see you all i hope for i am a gointo try / for a ferlow so i can com home but it wont be a very long one unley a ten day ferlow i want have but fore days or five to stay at home mother i think it is not longanul anuf to pay me for sutch a short time but if you all say com com it is mother have you got my likness that i sent to you i hope you have mother i rote 4 letters last weak to elianor and one to Jacob and amon and now i am a riten to you mother i have made / a ring for you and i will send it in this leter mother i will tell you what i mate them out of it is a pees of a shall they ar a comptionson of brass they ar not nis ones bu they will do to look at and for them to wear that dont think they to rich to wear them they look very nise i will have the to furst leters of my name cut on it mother i am a gointo send the gals one a pees mother i mus draw my leter to a / clos for this time so good moring to you all this is from your sun William Jones to his mother yours
