good morning to you my dear mother i thot that i wood rit and let you now that i am well at the present time but William is very sick now i hav tryed to git him to go to the hospitle whar tha hav good beds to lay on but he dont want to go thar but it is the best thing that he can do for thar is good docter thar from buffalo his name is ned he is a good man to the boys and taks good car / of them i can go and see him every day i shal try and git him to go if i can it wood be the best for him to do so i hop he will do so for me mother William cant eit so i thot that i wood rit and tell you you tell elnor if you will do so for me i will do the best i can for him mother has betsey ann com back yet or not i want to now she said that she had put my whit cow out for three years and that tha did not tak hir till fall / you tell hir for me that no man canot cheet me in that cind of a shape for tha had beter tak my money and dun with it if tha git my cow i want to no it for i will rais hall with them you find out hoo it is and tell them not to tuch that cow if tha now when tha ar well of for i will mak them sufer if tha do this is for rhodey good day for this time rit gust as quick as you git this from me if you plese to
