Jan the 14 it commenced snowing last night in the night & it is snowing now whe lost another of our men last night I have got to detail eight men besides the music a private is entiled to an escort of 8 men & a Copporal besides the music this will make four of our men have buried of our men besides some of other Companys whe march arms reversd by bringin the gun under the right arm barrel down the left hand hold of the cok the right arm a crost the back grasp the barrel with the rigt hand whe fire three times over the grave after the body coffin is lowerd in the grave
