Mr Conaroe kind friend perhaps you will think strage of me writing so soon but being alone this afternoon I could think of nothing that would pass the time more pleasant I have enjoyed myself verry well since I saw you a young ladie friend of mine has been spending the week with us and we all took a fishing excursion last eavening but being overtaken by a shower of rain had the pleasure of returning Lizzie and I was at west union church last sabbath and saw all the gents except the hawk which grieved bet verry much I heard some very pleasing news from your town since i saw you my informant give a verry flatering account of the place and spoke of the rapid improvements which are being made da / I am wishing for sunday to come for my favorite Minister will deliver a discourse which you know will be quite a treat I hope you will excuse the dullness of my letter I should be pleased to hear from you soon
