William H. Ward
William H. Ward was living in Putnam, Connecticut, by the early 1860s. He enlisted in the Union army on July 29, 1862, and he mustered in as a private in Company B of the 18th Connecticut Infantry on August 18. He was promoted to corporal on January 1, 1865, and he mustered out on June 27, 1865. He died sometime after the war.
