Detailed History
Originally a farm, Banner Lodge became the largest Connecticut cottage and campground resort during the 1930s through 1960s. After closing everything but the golfcourse, the buildings fell into disrepair. Only the course and old playhouse building survive; a condominium development was built on the site around 2005.
